Jerboa Dance is a Seattle based 501(c)(3) non-profit performance dance company that
was formed in 2003 by Christina Johnson, Anna Percival, and Jaime Waliczek. They
premiered their first works in June of that year, guest performing in a couple productions
and have volunteered their dance performance and services
to the Dance Master’s of America.
Christina and Jaime bring together unique backgrounds and styles of dance to provide
their audiences with an eclectic mix of choreography and dancing. Jerboa Dance has
produced 4 successful, full-length productions in Seattle. Since Christina had moved
to NYC and Jerboa Dance was wanting to expand, it was the natural next step to hold
our fall 2007 season in New York. Jerboa Dance strives to offer other local
choreographers and dancers opportunities to
show their works. Most of all, the company hopes to use their knowledge and passion
for dance to educate and entertain the community.
