Do you enjoy seeing athleticism, energy, and acrobatics?

Jerboa Dance, a Seattle-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dance company, is looking for donations to put on a performance at ACT Theatre in February 2009. The performance, Back from the Brink, premiered in New York City in November 2007, was well-received, and Jerboa wants to bring that dynamic show to Seattle.

In our current times, the arts have even less money than usual. It is always difficult to pay dancers what they are worth. Most companies in Seattle pay only a couple hundred dollars for all the hours of rehearsal and the performances which is not even enough to cover the training a dancer needs and their travel expenses to their rehearsals. Your kind donation would be used for those talented dancers’ salaries. To see some of the show, check out this video on Facebook.
